Preparation for mental and physical effort in sports
According to J.Font & J.Marí, psychologist of the High Performance Center (CAR), a maximal sport performance will be determined by many psychological factors that can be grouped in four levels. At a first base level, we find the athlete’s personality and his/her nearest environment. At a second level, is placed the athlete’s motivation to reach certain objectives. At a third level, the athlete has to be able to choose objectives and ways to reach them, to attribute himself/herself successes and errors and to be able to generalize learning processes. Finally, at a fourth level, the athlete has to be able to show a maximal performance by improving confidence, controlling nervousness and keeping concentration during competition.
A mental training, together with a well technically advised training and an appropriate diet facilitate the wished maximal sport performance.
vitAmin-T® is a food supplement specifically designed for people with physical and mental exhaustion, as athletes. vitAmin-T® provides tryptophan, vitamin C and several vitamins B. Therefore, vitAmin-T® supports physical and mental endurance as well as muscular activity.
Many studies confirm Serotonin depends on L-tryptophan’s biodisponibility and has an important regulation function by the perception of pain and muscle tiredness.
The supply of vitamin-T®, in sport effort situations, improves performance significantly by prolonging sport sessions and delaying tiredness’ appearance.
The effects of a L-tryptophan supplementation (vitAmin-T®) on physical performance were evaluated with a specially designed effort test using a cicloergometer. The following results were reached with a four-day consumption:
- Significant increase of maximal power; the number of revolutions per minute and anaerobic power showed significant difference compared with previous controls
- The distance covered increased significantly
- Developed muscular effort increased significantly.
Doses:
We recommend its consumption during the training period, especially four days before competition. You can take it for a long time.
The recommended doses during the training period are three capsules per day, preferably half an hour before the main meals. Outside training periods, two capsules per day are sufficient. |
